Abstract: Part of the Rehab the Lab series, this document is provided to King County schools to help them manage their hazardous chemicals. This lesson plan is one of a set of 11 student's guides for labs that can be downloaded individually or as a collection. This document covers the Topical Unit of Instruction: Properties of Matter. This is the student's worksheet; an accompanying teacher's guide is also available. This lab uses only one hazardous compound, household Isopropyl Alcohol. The alcohol can be reused as a disinfectant or electronics cleaner.
