Title: Solubility and Precipitation: Student Guide
Author: Dave Waddell
Abstract: Part of the Rehab the Lab series, this document is provided to King County schools to help them manage their hazardous chemicals. This lesson plan is one of a set of 11 student's guides for labs that can be downloaded individually or as a collection. This document covers the Topical Unit of Instruction: Solutions and Solubility. This is the student guide; an accompanying teacher's edition is also available. This small-scale chemistry lab uses extremely small quantities of very dilute solutions of mostly non-toxic chemicals. It generates two drops for each of the 15 combinations, only 30 drops of waste in all for each pair of students.
